Light Cinema

UK first for New Brighton’s Cinema

The Light Cinema New Brighton is offering a pioneering immersive learning offer to Wirral Schools and youth groups.

Cinema Park has an international reputation for creating multi-sensory educational programmes, which have been adopted as compulsory curriculum in Israel, Poland and Florida.

The half-day programmes are suitable for pupils from Key Stage 2 upwards (ages 7-15) and cover a range of themes from animals & habitats, science & nature, to alcohol & drug prevention.

Pupils enter different screens to experience 3D and interactive technology, as they absorb information and engage with educational content through a familiar and enjoyable format that entertains as well as educates.

Bernard Cassidy, Headteacher of Mount Primary, said: “Our children thoroughly enjoyed the Edu-tainment experience at the Light Cinema. They learnt a lot and had a great deal of fun. We will definitely be using this again as part of our curriculum plans”.
