HAND IN HAND THEATRE have just recieved the news that they have been awarded funding from The Arts Council as well as the Eleanor Rathbone Trust for their OPENSTAGES production of THE WINTER’S TALE in partnership with The Royal SHakespeare Co , Contact Theatre Manchster and Hoylake school of Dance. The spectacular production will take place in Feb 2015 at the Floral Pavilion. Workshops run by RSC will take place in July and August.
Before that, the company are presenting a FESTIVAL of WAR PEACE and REMEMBRANCE 23-26th October 2014 in the Blue lounge at the Floral for the commemoration of WW1. Local groups, schools and indivuduals will be performing poetry, prose, drama, music and songs. They are delighted that for this project they are supported by Wallasey Bright Ideas helping less advantaged children and families.
