Tickets for free ticketed events will be available from the Sailing School (Marine Point) from 12:00pm on the day, on a first come first served basis.

Visit us dressed in something ‘seaside themed’, full fancy dress or just something fun to celebrate New Brighton, and receive discounts off food and drink in participating outlets. Have your photograph taken to enter our free competition to win a selection of great prizes.

If you notice any missing or damaged bus stop information, please let us know so we can replace it.

Let us know either the six character bus stop reference (you’ll find it on the Bus Stop shelter or pole eg 42032A) or the road name, nearest side road and direction of travel.

We’ll then replace the missing or damaged timetable information as fast as we can.

Liverpool:

6/6E Liverpool – Huyton Some minor changes to times
7/7A/7E Liverpool – Huyton or Warrington Some minor changes to times
14/14A Liverpool – Widnes/Murdishaw Some changes to route and times
17 Liverpool – Fazakerley/Kirkby Some minor changes to times
57 Liverpool – Litherland/Netherton New service
61/A/E Liverpool – Rainhill Some changes to route and times
62 Allerton – North Park New Monday to Saturday evening service replacing service 162. Saturday daytime frequency increased from every 30 mins to every 20 mins. Sunday morning service 162 is now numbered 62 and operated without subsidy by Arriva
79C Liverpool – Murdishaw Monday to Saturday daytime frequency reduced to every 30 minutes
81 Allerton – North Park Sunday morning Merseytravel service 81 is operated without subsidy by Arriva
82A/82B Liverpool – Halton Hospital Some minor changed to times

135/235 Aintree Station – Bootle Daytime route is changed and no longer operates to Aintree station

Wirral:

10/10A New Brighton – Arrowe Park Some changed to route and times.
12/12A Birkenhead – Arrowe Park Service now only operates to Woodchurch so does not serve Arrowe Park Hospital. Some changes to times.
18 Birkenhead – Moreton Service now operates between Moreton and Liverpool city centre. Services to Bootle and Aintree are withdrawn.
22 West Kirby – Chester Changes to route & times. Some buses are renumbered 82A.
80 West Kirby – Newton New service
84 Clatterbridge – Raby Mere Some minor changes to route and times
93 Birkenhead – Arrowe Park Changes to route and times. Services are extended to Liverpool ONE Bus Station
423 Birkenhead – Liverpool Some changes to route and times
441 Woodchurch – Litherland Service is withdrawn
442 Woodchurch – Dingle Service is withdrawn
473 Barnston – Dingle/Litherland Service is withdrawn
487 Liverpool – Neston/Parkgate Monday to Saturday evening buses now only operate as far as Neston so do not serve Parkgate. Some changes to times

Southport:

44 Formby/Southport – Crossens Some minor changes to times
46A Hillside – High Park Some minor changes to times
49 Crossens – Ainsdale Monday to Friday daytime frequency from every 10 to every 12 minutes.
375/385 Southport – Wigan Sunday service 375 frequency is reduced to every hour and Sunday service 385 buses are withdrawn. Some other changes to times

St Helens:

34/34A St Helens – Newton/Leigh The Monday to Saturday 1745 bus from St Helens Bus Station
is retimed to leave 4 minutes later at 1749.

352 St Helens – Wigan Some minor changes to times

Wirral Line:
There are no planned changes to Wirral Line services this week

Northern Line:
There are no planned changes to Northern Line services this week

Moorfields station refurbishment:
Platform 2 (Northern line) has now closed for refurbishment, trains for Southport, Ormskirk and Kirkby will not stop at Moorfields station.
If you travel on the Northern line from Moorfields towards Southport, Ormskirk or Kirkby, or you travel from Hunts Cross to Moorfields, there are a number of alternative travel options available to you.

Please visit merseyrail.org/lovemoorfields for alternative travel information. During busy periods, passengers may be required to queue at Moorfields and Liverpool Central before being allowed on to platforms.

City Line:
On Sunday 24 April, the Liverpool Lime Street to Manchester Piccadilly service will run to a revised timetable as Network Rail will be carrying out work on this line.

From Monday 25 to Thursday 28 April, The 2327 Manchester Oxford Road to Liverpool Lime Street service will terminate at Hunts Cross.

Queensway (Birkenhead) Mersey Tunnel – Full Closure

The Queensway Tunnel will be closed on the following nights due to essential maintenance work:

From 2100 on Monday 25 to 0630 on Tuesday 26 April
From 2100 on Tuesday 26 to 0630 on Wednesday 27 April
From 2100 on Wednesday 27 to 0630 on Thursday 28 April
From 2100 on Thursday 28 to 0630 on Friday 29 April

The Kingsway (Wallasey) Mersey Tunnel will remain open during these times. Please allow additional time when planning your journeys
