The 3B Partnership is a group of young BMX bike riders and skateboarders from the Wallasey area, numbering around 50 to 60. We are campaigning to get a purpose built, staffed facility for use by BMXers and skateboarders.

Currently there are no places to skate/ride except car parks, streets, benches, parks etc, all places where we get kicked out or upset people.

The idea of a free local skatepark has been made reality in many towns up and down the country, so the project is not impossible and always brings in people from all around the country. This would create business opportunities for the New Brighton/Wallasey area, for skateshops, bike shops, and would bring more customers to the cafes and attractions of New Brighton.

The project is being fully supported by Councillors Pat Hackett and Theresa Irving, New Wallasey Regeneration and Roger Calvert from Leisure Services.

We have had some help from the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts to put on a performance to raise public awareness about our project. This highlighted our situation and received positive feedback for the idea.
