On 15th April RNLI New Brighton lifeboat assisted a small fishing vessel that was in trouble.
It was the last exercise of New Brighton’s Senior Helmsman Mike Jones before handing over
to the new Senior Helmsman Dave Lowe.
At the end of the exercise when returning to station Mike observed a small fishing boat in an
unusual position and went to check if all was OK – it was not – see attached downloadable news release
